I heard this song twice in as many days whilst playing randomly on different instances of iTunes. I thought it a sign, and the song worthy of sharing. Here's Frank Black and Moris Tepper performing 'I Burn Today' on the Henry Rollins Show on April 15, 2006. In researching this performance I discovered that this episode of the Henry Rollins Show also featured Werner Herzog, recognized as one of the greatest figures of the New German Cinema. Check it out.

I love this photo. It is one of the very first digital photos I ever took, having just purchased a cheap Canon compact. I captured this image in Mission, TX, enroute to the Mexico border, on September 23, 2003.

Bored with all of the Happy Birthday videos on YouTube, I created my first movie incorporating an MP3 of Junior Wells singing Happy Birthday, from the album "Juinor Wells Live At Theresa's" (1975)', with some photos of Theresa's Lounge in Chicago I found on the web. Guess what I'm getting you for your birthday?

I love 'The Strip' from The New York Times Sunday Review. This edition lampoons CES. Brian McFadden is a brilliant cartoonist, illustrator, and jokesmith.

I once bought a laptop from a guy who approached me in the parking lot of the Stonestown Galeria Mall in San Francisco. I immediately went home and opened the box to find --- a brick. Literally. I held on to that brick for a long time as a reminder that you don't get something for nothing.

One more from 'Blues And Gospel Train', a musical concert performed at the Chorltonville Railway Station, a suburban station in Manchester, England, in 1963, here's the father of modern Chicago blues, Muddy Waters, performing 'You Can't Lose What You Never Had'.

From 'Blues And Gospel Train', a TV special in Great Britain filmed at the Chorltonville Railway Station, a suburban station in Manchester, England, in 1963, here's another tune from the gospel great Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Dig that classic Gibson Les Paul Deluxe.
