I walked to the main library last night past The Triple Door and noticed that Matthew Sweet was performing his album ‘Girlfriend’ in its entirety. ‘Girlfriend’, recorded in 1990, is regarded by some as the best power pop (read jangly guitars) album of the ‘90’s. I decided to go and had a great time. Matthew Sweet rocks! To borrow from Kurt Vonnegut, ‘Peculiar [entertainment] suggestions are dancing lessons from God’.

Do you remember the 1980's Seattle-based band called the Young Fresh Fellows? Here's the comical song about Christian pop music artist 'Amy Grant' from the 1987 album 'The Men Who Loved Music'. Rock and Roll!
