LEGEND

On the morning June 12, 1962, three Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary prisoners—John Anglin, his brother Clarence, and Frank Morris—were not in their cells at during the routine bed check. In their places, guards found cleverly built dummy heads made of plaster, flesh-tone paint, and real human hair.

The FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation, along with the Coast Guard, Bureau of Prison authorities, and others, investigated the matter and pieced together the details of the escape plan—but the trio was never found. To this day, the fate of the prisoners remains a mystery.

POLITICS

Word: 'Look, America is like the best idea the world ever came up with. But Donald Donald J. Trump is potentially the worst idea that ever happened to America, potentially ... I don't think he's a Republican. I think he's hijacked the party, and I think he's trying to hijack the idea of America. And I think it's bigger than all of us. I think this is really dangerous ... Wise people of conscience should not let this man turn your country into a casino.' - Bono on Charlie Rose on September 20, 2016
