Dig: American Honey. I devoured this beautifully unconventional coming-of-age road movie last night, savoring each and every one of its 162-minutes. Written and directed by Andrea Arnold, it premiered at the 2016 Festival de Cannes, where it won the Jury Prize (I also watched her brilliant film Fish Tank, recently, which won the 2009 Jury Prize). Named after the Lady Antebellum song of the same name, the soundtrack is also worth a listen.
